ISLANDS & more

The GeoVis Group is involved in the international joint research Master programme Islands and Sustainability (ISLANDS MSc) which is offered at the University of Iceland in collaboration with the University of Groningen, the University of the Aegean and the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. The programme is an Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Programme with support by the European Union. It focuses on the development of knowledge on island particularities and the development of tools, skills and technology in order to reduce the gap between theory and practice concerning sustainability. You can find more details about ISLANDS on islandsmaster.eu.

A full overview of courses and study lines at the University of Iceland is shown in the University’s course catalogue. Even though the primary language of instruction is Icelandic, the University of Iceland offers several study programmes that are taught fully in English and are therefore open to international students. Further guidance on this can be found in the International Programmes overview.
